Pine Shores Presbyterian Church

Pine Shores Youth (PSY) is one of many ministries of Pine Shores Presbyterian Church, located in Sarasota, Florida.

Cedarkirk Camp & Conference Center for spiritual renewal and growth in a natural environment.  Pine Shores Youth, children and families often attend Cedarkirk for camp, on retreat, or for Family Camp.

Pine Shores Presbyterian Church is one of 38 churches that make up Peace River Presbytery.  Sometimes Pine Shores Youth participate in presbytery events where various Presbyterian church youth groups come together in recreation, fun, mission and worship.

Presbyterian Church (USA) Youth Ministry

There are more than 10,000 congregations across the country that make up the Presbyterian Church (USA) denomination.  Sometimes huge national youth events take place, such as Triennium, where youth from around the country gather.  Several of Pine Shores Youth have participated in these events through the years.

Souper Bowl of Caring

Every year on Super Bowl Sunday our youth participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring, raising money and cans of soup for the hungry.  In 2008, Pine Shores ranked #4 in the nation of Presbyterian churches raising money for the Souper Bowl of Caring and money was donated to the All Faiths Food Bank located in Sarasota.
